In 2022, AI had a tremendous impact on human's life. We are wondering, what if AI can produce nature in the future. And what will the plants and flowers be like produced by AI?

We try to explore how the possibility of the species and materials which AI may provide to the future plants, and combine biology motion to animate the movement of plants. 

Not only we do experimental creation of plants, but also invite publics to interactive how the plants will grow via mix reality to observe and interact with the future plants. In this project, we also hope to enact this potential that how future plants grow in the modern city and how people live in this environment.

Our project starts with a simple question: 
What will future plants look like?
Based on keywords from AI prediction of what future plants will be like, We created virtual plants in mixed reality, allowing people to immerse and interact with them.



Flowers we create

Magnetic alignment
Flower with the power of Magnetic alignment. Flowers could evolve to hold magnetic elements by absorbing magnetic and radiation energy, helping them save water by controlling evaporation and survive longer in tough weather.  
Digital interfaces
"Future flowers can have digital interfaces. In the future, flowers might be made from digital pixel cubes. People can create their own flowers using digital controls, adjusting things like color and scent."
Hybrid species
Plants in the future can be Hybrid species. In the future, there will be more and more such plants with hybrids of different organisms; In the future, they can live in both air and water and contribute to air purification.
Plant-human interactions
Plants are crucial for human survival, and our actions significantly impact them. Drawing inspiration from biomimetics, the future plant will adopt human-like shapes, emphasizing the close connection between humans and plants.
Transparent leaves
In the future, plants will have transparent leaves. The future plant will feature transparent leaves, showing how they work inside and adapting quickly to change. They'll grow super-fast to adjust to new conditions.
Aquatic plants
AI also predicts the emergence of aquatic plants. Plants might change shape, and technology could help underwater plants thrive on land. 
Robotically assisted growth
The first plant is based on keywords, Robotically assisted growth. The future plant, driven by robotically assisted growth, epitomizes adaptability, efficiency, and heat resistance. 
Eco-friendly bioplastics
Future plants will use eco-friendly bioplastics. This plant combines hydroponics, solar panels, and eco-friendly materials.
